There are also a limited number of rooms at the International House on the University Campus. This is a dormitory style residence offering smaller rooms.
Directions
By Car:
From Lake Shore Drive:
To get to Ida Noyes, exit at 57th Drive (the Museum of Science and Industry). Go west and curve around the museum. Take the fourth right onto the Midway Plaisance and go west to the campus. Go north on Woodlawn; the building will on the right, just past 59th St, just across from Rockefeller Chapel.
To get to Shoreland Hall, exit at 53rd St. Take a left at the first street, View Park. Continue on to South Shore Dr. The building will be on the right.
From the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94):
Exit at Garfield Blvd. (55th St.) and drive east, following the signs for 55th Street through Washington Park. Once you cross over Cottage Grove Avenue, the campus is on your right. To get to Ida Noyes, go south on Woodlawn; the building will be on the left, just before 59th St., across from Rockefeller Chapel. To get to Shoreland Hall, continue down 55th to South Shore Dr. Go north, and the building will be on the left.

Parking is limited. There is lot on the North side of campus, located at 55th and Ellis, which is about 10 minutes walk from Ida Noyes, and about a mile from Shoreland Hall. Street parking is available but limited. Please be aware of parking regulations; we do not hold responsibility for ticketed, towed or damaged vehicles.
By Public Transit
By Bus:
The CTA #6 Jackson Park Express bus will take you from downtown Chicago to Hyde Park. Catch the bus southbound on State Street in the Loop. Get off at 57th or 59th Street, walk under the train tracks, and continue west to the campus.
By Train:
Catch the Metra Electric commuter train at the Randolph, Van Buren, or Roosevelt station. Get off at 57th or 59th Street and walk west to the campus.
